the only thing is i need bike gears because im using bike chain not roller chain. bike gears are thin. i do need to see how those pocket bikes work. i might look them up to see what kind of clutch they use

it looks like that rear sprocket you welded on is bent,try straightening it, maybe tat will help your chain situation.

one thing i've learned from making one of those is that you never weld anything to an engine.i always try to avoid welding and do it right.
